PARENT INVOLVEMENT
The effectiveness of any program lies in the mutual understanding and respect of parents and teachers. With this cooperation, the child will receive maximum benefit from his preschool experience.

Get Acquainted Day
Mother's Day Tea
You and your child will be given the opportunity to meet his
teacher and visit his classroom at open house prior to the
first day of school.

Mothers of our four-year-olds are our special guests in May.
The children delight in presenting
their surprises to Mom.
Birthdays
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parents are invited to bring cookies or doughnuts and boxed
drinks to make this day special. The teacher recognizes your
child's birthday in the classroom with a crown, a song, hugs and
your special snack at refreshment time. If you would like to leave a
camera the teacher will be glad to take a few snapshots.

The first parent-teacher conferences will be scheduled
sometime in September. If you desire a conference before
this time, do contact us. We will be happy to conference any time.
The second scheduled conference will be in January
and the last in April.
Field Day
Programs
Parents are invited to school to cheer for the children as they
demonstrate their skills in various sports and other outdoor
activities. Each child receives a blue ribbon and an
ice cream treat. This takes place in late spring.

Our graduating five-year-old classes will have a chance
to perform in a forty minute musical in May. The four-year-olds
will present a December Christmas show. The two and
three-year-olds will entertain you with Valentine songs in February.
"Sneak a Peek"
Holiday Parties
Parents of the four-year-old classes will be invited to
observe Spanish, Body Rhythmics and classroom academic
games in November. You are welcome at any time to visit
your child's class or share any of your talents or your work with
the children. Parents have supplemented our program in so
many ways. Parents of the two's, three's and K's are
invited to an evening Open House where the children
will show off their work.

We encourage each parent to volunteer to help with holiday parties.
There will be parties for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day
and Easter. Parents bring favors, drinks, sweets, healthy
snacks, etc., and take over the class for 45 minutes with
games, crafts, stories and party fun. The children seem to enjoy
the complete change, and this allows the parents to become acquainted with the other children in the class. Both Mom and Dad are welcome, regardless of whether they are helping. Hint: Don't miss Halloween!
